Course Description:  This course focuses on the using the elements of art and principles of design to create 3D works.  Students will use several conventional media (clay, wood, and stone) and some unconventional media (plastic utensils, Styrofoam cups, and paper).

Grading:
80% Projects
10% Bell Ringer
10% Exit Slips

Grading Scale:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = below 60

Academic Policy: Students are required to submit their own work.  Anyone who violates this policy in any way will result in the following;
1. Automatic zero (0) on the assignment
2. Automatic zero (0) on the assignment; parent contact
3. Automatic zero (0) on the assignment; referred to the office

Consequences:
1st offense: warning
2nd offense: detention
3rd offense: detention
4th offense: office referral
ANY MAJOR DISTRUPTION OR OFFENSE MAY RESULT IN AUTOMATIC OFFICE REFERRAL 

Late Work for Exscused Absence Students will have the number of days absent to complete and turn in any work missed during the absence. 
Example:  If a student misses an assignment on Friday and has an excused absence when he/she returns on Monday, the student MUST make it up and turn it in by Tuesday or the grade will result in a “zero”
